Rickett Joins Humane Society for
Hamilton County
Noblesville,
Ind. -- The Humane Society for Hamilton County (HSHC) is
pleased to announce that Jennifer Rickett has joined the
organization as manager of Human Resources and Animal
Advocacy Programs.
Jennifer brings 16 years of management experience to our
facility, which includes 10 years specializing in the
veterinary and animal care field.
Jennifer comes to us from Veterinary Boot Camp, a company
she started which specializes in training veterinary staff
and evaluating office efficiency.
Prior to owning her own business, Jennifer worked within
the veterinary pharmaceutical field. Her work in both
veterinary supply distribution and veterinary pharmaceutical
manufacturing afforded her a higher level of understanding
of animal health care and treatment options.
Jennifer started in veterinary medicine as Business
Manager for a multiple veterinary hospital operation in the
Indianapolis area. As Business Manager, she managed 40+
employees, handled accounts payable and receivable, payroll,
staff training programs, and consultative services for
extensive animal health treatments.
In addition to her work in the animal field, Jennifer has
been a writer and producer in television advertising. In
2002, Jennifer was awarded with an Addy for excellence in
television advertising.
Jennifer’s first priority will be to hire staffing for
the new Humane Society building opening this October. The
HSHC is now hiring for receptionist, vet technicians, vet
assistants, temperament testers and dog trainers. Interested
candidates can call Jennifer at 536-9555 or complete an
application at the Humane Society located at 18102
Cumberland Road, Noblesville.
Jennifer has a Business Degree from Indiana University
and resides in Indianapolis with her furry family.
The mission of the Humane Society for Hamilton County
(HSHC) is to provide a compassionate and healthy environment
for the homeless animals in our care until they can be
placed into permanent, loving homes. The HSHC strives to
promote responsible pet ownership and reduce the suffering
caused by pet overpopulation and animal cruelty by offering
low cost spay/neuter solutions and education.
