To Wind Up Dog Days of Summer with Puppy Pool-ooza

Noblesville, Ind., Sept. 19, 2007 – The Humane Society
for Hamilton County (HSHC) is
leashing up for the fifth annual Puppy Pool-ooza from 10
a.m. to 2 p.m., Sept. 29 at Forest
Park Aquatic Center in Noblesville, Ind. Dog owners are
invited to bring their canine best
friend for a day of splashing and socializing. The center is
located just north of S.R. 32 off of S.R. 19 in Noblesville.
Puppy Pool-ooza is a special day for canines to cool off
with a refreshing dip and demonstrate their best dog paddle
before the Forest Park Aquatic Center pool is drained and
cleaned for
the season. Activities include dog microchipping for $30,
post-swim dog baths and the chance
to win some amazing prizes.
Additionally, afternoon WZPL DJ, Hunter, will be our
special guest and serve as the event announcer.
Pool entry is $10 per dog and $5 for each additional dog
in the same family. With free admission for their human
companion. Swimming for dogs only. Owners may wade with
their dog but may not swim.
Each dog must:
- Have a human companion 16 years of age or older
- Present proof of current vaccinations on admission
- Be friendly to other dogs and to other people
- Take a long walk to do their business before coming
to the pool
- Remain leashed while in the park and on the pool
deck

The mission of the Humane Society for Hamilton County
(HSHC) is to provide a compassionate and healthy environment
for the homeless animals in our care until they can be
placed into permanent, loving homes. The HSHC strives to
promote responsible pet ownership and reduce the suffering
caused by pet overpopulation and animal cruelty by offering
low cost spay/neuter solutions and education.
