Huntington Bank Invites
Hounds To Grand Opening
Humane Society for Hamilton County holds an exclusive
adoption event at Huntington Bank’s Grand Opening
WESTFIELD, Ind., May 5, 2006 – The Humane Society for
Hamilton County and Huntington Bank, will host an adoption
and microchipping event at Huntington Bank’s Grand Opening
on May 13th at their new Westfield location on State Road 32
and Carey Road from 10am – 12pm.
Featured dogs and cats will be available for immediate
adoption. HSHC will also be providing microchipping for the
public. Meet the HSHC’s official mascot BB who will be
attending and greeting guests in the parking lot.
Huntington Bank will be donating $5 to the Humane Society
for every new account opened that day. “I’m very excited to
be working with Huntington Bank,” stated Rebecca Stevens,
Executive Director for the Humane Society, “it will be a fun
day that helps our many wonderful pets in our shelter
waiting for loving homes. The proceeds will help pay for
food, bedding, cleaning supplies and the medical expenses
associated with caring for our shelter animals.”
Adoption fees and policies are set by the HSHC. All dogs
will have all current shots and will be microchipped.
Families adopting the dogs will receive a certificate for a
spay or neuter at HSHC’s participating vets.
The event is sponsored by Huntington Bank. For more
information or to donate to the welfare of homeless animals,
call the Humane Society for Hamilton County at 317-773-4974,

The mission of the Humane Society for Hamilton County (HSHC)
is to provide a compassionate and healthy environment for
the homeless animals in our care until they can be placed
into permanent, loving homes. The HSHC strives to promote
responsible pet ownership and reduce the suffering caused by
pet overpopulation and animal cruelty by offering low cost
spay/neuter solutions and education.
