Humane Society for Hamilton County
Grand Opening Celebration

Noblesville, Ind., Oct. 24, 2006 – With the boxes unpacked and the animals settled into their new homes, HSHC is inviting the public to their grand opening celebration, “Building New Beginnings”. This fundraising event is scheduled for Thursday, November 2nd from 6pm – 9pm. The event will include hors d’eourves, a live concert from Jennie Devoe, an art exhibition featuring Indiana artists followed by a silent auction and guest speakers including Mayor Ditslear of Noblesville.

“This new facility enables us to provide a higher quality of care to the animals as well as a healthier environment for our staff and the public who visit us,” said Rebecca Stevens executive director of the HSHC. “We’re already seeing an increase in foot traffic since we opened our doors this past Friday.”

The new facility is located at 1721 Pleasant Street located next to the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds and across the street from the Noblesville Post Office.

To purchase tickets stop by any Huntington Bank in Hamilton County or visit the HSHC. An open house celebration with free admission will also take place on Saturday, November 4th with special giveaways, pet photos, refreshments, a visit from the Indianapolis ZooMobile and 93.9 The Song’s ‘Soul Patrol’.

The mission of the Humane Society for Hamilton County (HSHC) is to provide a compassionate and healthy environment for the homeless animals in our care until they can be placed into permanent, loving homes. The HSHC strives to promote responsible pet ownership and reduce the suffering caused by pet overpopulation and animal cruelty by offering low cost spay/neuter solutions and education.
