Calling All Animal Lovers!
Humane Society for Hamilton County hosts “Walk For The Animals”
fundraising event

Noblesville, Ind., May 5, 2006 – Put your walking shoes on and bring Sparky to the Humane Society for Hamilton County’s Walk For The Animals. A day of fun for you and Sparky includes educational displays by area businesses, goody bags, t-shirts, photos, microchipping, prizes, entertainment and food. Walk with your pet, family and friends and help improve animal welfare by raising money for the shelter.

The dollars raised from this event will help feed, house, provide medical care, and find homes for the over 2,500 homeless, abused and neglected animals the HSHC will take in this year.

The event takes place at Cool Creek Park off 151st Street and US 31. Registration begins at 9am with the walk starting at 10:30. Participants can pick up a brochure at Dog Dayz, Fishers VCA, Top Dog Pet Supplies in Carmel, Pet Product Superstores, Sherlock Bones Animal Hospital, Noblesville Library and the Carmel Library. Or you can visit www.hamiltonhumane.com to download a copy.

The Humane Society for Hamilton County would like to thank the following event sponsors; Pet Ecology, Eagle Pack, Pet Product Super Stores, Flanner & Buchanan, Hamilton County Parks & Recreation, Pet Angel Memorial Center, Petco Foundation, Fishers Veterinary Hospital, All Pets Go To Heaven Crematory, Nature’s Variety, Royal Canin and Fetch Academy.

The mission of the Humane Society for Hamilton County (HSHC) is to provide a compassionate and healthy environment for the homeless animals in our care until they can be placed into permanent, loving homes. The HSHC strives to promote responsible pet ownership and reduce the suffering caused by pet overpopulation and animal cruelty by offering low cost spay/neuter solutions and education.
