Did you know that black cats and dogs wait longer
for homes than most other shelter pets?
It’s true. Whether it’s because of superstition, the
fact they sometimes look a little more intense, or
perhaps they just blend into the sea of faces at the
shelter, the reality is, black cats and dogs do get
overlooked.
Well, not
this month! We are featuring not only our
black animals this month, but also our white ones
AND those with the “checkered flag” look. All
eligible pets are noted at the shelter with a
checkered flag on their cages or kennels. Some
exceptions to this promotional pricing do apply.
